Professional Formula Jet Spray Carburetor Cleaner
A clean carburetor delivers a smoother running engine with improved fuel economy and maximized performance. Directions
- 540039 - 14 oz.
INSERT PLASTIC TUBE FIRMLY INTO VALVE BUTTON. SPRAY CAN IN UPRIGHT POSITION.
Carburetor:
- With engine off and cool remove the air filter.
- Spray the exterior of the carburetor and all linkages, then allow the product to soak (avoid spraying on electrical connections).
- Spray exterior again to remove remaining carbon & varnish. Allow product to dry completely.
- Start engine and spray down both ends of the choke valve shaft while working the choke by hand.
- Start engine and spray down and around the carburetor throat in short bursts to remove deposits from the throttle plate. (DO NOT SPRAY DOWN CARBURETOR THROAT WITH ENGINE OFF. DO NOT SPRAY BELOW THROTTLE PLATE).
- Shut off engine and reinstall the air filter.
Manifold Heat Control:
- With engine off and cool, spray exposed ends of the riser shaft, then allow the product to soak.
- Move counterweight up and down while spraying until free.
PCV Valve:
- With engine off and cool, disconnect crankcase side of the valve.
- Spray open end of the valve while working the plunger back and forth.
If sprayed on painted surface, wipe off at once.
