Carbon buildup from combustion can clog fuel injectors and carburetors, limiting the amount of fuel that reaches the engine. Gumout® Fuel Injector & Carburetor Cleaner keeps deposits from forming on these crucial parts to maintain performance and fuel economy.

Oxygen sensor safe. Safe for use in turbocharged and supercharged vehicles. Will not void OEM/manufacturer’s warranty.
The bottle is easy to open. Gumout is a top-notch brand and works well.

Definitely a must for excellent automotive performance

Great

Been using this stuff in my yard equipment just dump it in the 5 gallons gas jug and keeps all the equipment internals nice n clean

Works as advertised ……………

Helps my cars run better, I add 1 every month when I fill up.

Does a good job keeping my gas mileage up. It's not the best on the market (those are a little more expensive), but if you use this every tank, it will help. Decent product. My dad used it for years and he worked at General Motors for 30 years, so that's a pretty good endorsement!

Easy to use in cars %26 mowers. Definitely helps my son's old car running smoothly! Good value.

It did the job!

Helps clean the fuel injectors which means cleaner burning fuel and helps prevent O2 sensor problems.

I run a bottle through my tank periodically and recommend gumout products. Keep the car running like new and have fixed costly clogged fuel injectors without going to the mechanic.

Awesome! Works great!

Best way to help keep your car running smooth , outside of normal maintenance. Just pour it into the fuel tank before putting in gas and you're good to go. Helps maintain fuel efficiency so it's a plus

Their recommendation is to add a bottle at each fill up. Seems like too often.

just the ticket for the clogged carburetor on my weed eater

When you use this product, your vehicle runs at its peak.I would recommend it for the v eight that they put out today and get better gas mileage

Improves mpg

I have used Gumout Fuel Injector Cleaner/Carb Cleaner Additive for years and have driven decades with smoothly running engines and no problems.

I use it because "an ounce of prevention" has stuck with me. I assume it works - in the same way that premium gas has cleaners / additives that are claimed to do the same. Realistically, how would you know?

this cleaner is the best I ever used.

Works well

I have used this product 5 years on my car. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY MAJOR MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WITH MY CAR I put it in my gas every othe month I would highly recommend this product

This project actually works. Been using it for years and have yet to have any fuel system related problems…

After 36 miles I experienced a slight uptick in acceleration. There is also a small difference (lighter color) in the exhaust pipe which may or may be contribute complete combustion after using the product. However, I am inclined to believe it did based on observation upon its use.

Great product and price

Works fine helping my older vehicle.

Guess it worked. Pour it in. Maybe something happened 🤔

It lived up to the reviews

The item is nice and compact in design. Easy to insert into the gas nozzle. Also increases the car engine's expected life for sure.

Good fuel injection cleaner for Chevy Implala

its easy to apply and good been using

Works great if used regularly, Any injector cleaner that cleans miraculously in one use would be too strong to be safe. I use a bottle every 5,000 miles, get my tires rotated and pick up a bottle, and drive it down to a 1/4 tank before refilling my tank.

Walmart for me is a very convenient place to go and get my oil change and while they joined up for me I'm doing my grocery shopping so that's one of the reason I like to go to Walmart

I add use it when I change my oil

cleans the whole fuel system and helped my gas mileage .

inexpensive great working cleaner, I've used for many years

Seems to perform better like I added octane boost.

the size was perfect, as I put it in my motorcycle.

The product works good ... been using it for years !

Good stuff

I had no idea this product was so good. Honestly, I purchase it to use the bottle too refill with Lucas Fuel Treatment. since it's 6 oz and Lucas Fuel Treatment bottles are 5.25 oz, I wanted to refill a bottle that was 6 oz instead. So, I thought I would still use gumout treatment in the bottle, because at first I was just going to pour it out. After using it particularly in one of my vehicles, it outperformed the Lucas Fuel Treatment. After two fill ups, using a 6 oz bottle of gumout for each fill up, I came to that determination.

We used this in all of our cars to help save on gas and keep the car running great. You just add directly to the gas tank and fill it up and you are good to go. I have a noticed a huge difference with this!

I used this in my 2017 Buick Enclave just to make sure that everything stays fresh and it has helped with my gas mileage a lot I would use it again and it's other product by this company.

I use this in my cars every oil change. I've always felt this stuff worked, but couldn't be sure. So many car chemicals are just snake oil.... The other day, I decided to use some Gumout I had on hand in an attempt to salvage flood damaged tools. I dropped some rusty bits into one ounce of this stuff and have it a little shake. It immediately started turning dark, removing rust and suspending it. I wish I had taken before and after photos, but I was unprepared and not expecting such a great result. I had another bottle of a parts store brand that I also tried and it did basically nothing more than remove basic dirt and oil. It did nothing to the rust and stains. That stuff smelled just like premium gas, and I think that's probably all it is. Gumout is viscous like a very light oil and it clearly has some effective detergents in it, like carb cleaner should! It also seemed to be much lower in VOCs than the generic stuff, not a big deal if you're dumping it in the gas tank for its intended use.

Been using this product for a while and always reliable and consistent quality. You may not notice a difference right away but it will help keep your fuel system tip top shape. We do it every oil change. It's a great product. Never have any issues with it.

So I had never tried this brand but everything seems fine. It was easy to use, added while getting gasoline. Haven't had Any indications of a problem. I don't know if this is a new product Or just new to us. We do buy these kinds of products buts usually A different brand, so since this went well, I will have to see if it's Available next time I'm getting them.

Recently ran a bottle of gumout carb cleaner through a mower that is about 6 years old and started to run a little sluggish. I just put it in the tank and filled it up with gas. Really simple for what it can do. It took the majority of the tank run through it before it started to get smoother. 1 bottle treats 21 gallons so I will run it through several tanks. Hopefully having a big yard to mow it will improve gas mileage and it should prevent future build up in the carburetor. So far it seems to have done a good job on cleaning the carburetor.

Perfect

So for a small bottle it preformed surprising well, size didn't matter. It improved my gas mileage that had averaged 18.5 to now 20.8! This on a 6 cylinder with 125 K, this average has gone up every week after 3 weeks of adding. This should save me about $5 - $6 a week. At the average retail price this Gumout additive it has paid for it's self already.

I have used Gumout products in the past on my cars. They are an inexpensive product to help protect and clean my fuel injector and carburetor. I use this product every couple of months and feel that it does help keep my car running smoothly. Easy to use bottle.

If you have a car, it can be tempting just to ignore any type of maintenance unless something goes wrong. We probably don’t have to tell you that this is a bad idea. However, not everyone agrees on what preventive maintenance is, what you should do and when you should do it. Let’s clear that up, and give you some tips that’ll apply to any vehicle.
