Our car has over 120K miles on it, so I was eager to try this product, which is intended for cars with over 75K miles. First of all, it is so easy to use. We just added to an almost-empty fuel tank, then filled the car with gas and did not fill again until almost empty. This product is designed to clean carbon from the enigine and help reduce emissions. We definitely think the car is running smoother and has better pickup. Our fuel efficiency for the tank with gumout increased about 2-3 mpg, which is impressive and saves money, as gas prices continue to climb. There was a noticeable difference in how my car drove after trying this out. My car shifted much smoother and less jerky. I have over 150,000 miles on my vehicle. Al thought it’s an automatic I oils feel the transmission shifting when I sped up. This made acceleration much easier.

I definitely think it doesn't hurt to use these but I'm not 100% sure on how well it works and how much better your car runs after using. What I will say is that I noticed that after putting gas after applying this gumout fuel system cleaner, I did feel like my car ran a little smoother and perhaps the gas lasted a bit longer but I can't say for certain. I do feel like it helps to clean out your fuel tank and would definitely repurchase this item.

Wonderful product and truly does the job. My engine light went on because of the EGR valve. I replaced the valve and cleaned the intake tube. But I forgot to clean the entry to the valve. My engine light went off for a while than back on. Carbon buildup where I failed to clean. After extensive research I came across this product. I thought let me give it a try before I take the EGR valve back out and do a manual cleaning. Which taking out the part on a Ram is no easy task. I poured Gumout Regane with fresh gas on a nearly empty tank, turned off the engine light with a reader and WALLA!!!! No more problems. It cleaned out the carbon. Easy peasy, worthwhile and saved me a lot of labor. Great product.
