This cleaner actually has PEA, the ingredient that cleans. Highly concentrated, so an oz was more than enough to treat the fuel in a mower with a partially blocked carb jet. Within 5 minutes it was running much smoother.

The instructions said to empty the bottle into your gas tank when low and fill up. I did take a picture of the mpg readout before using the Gumout and after. The mileage showed a little improvement, however I still have 1/2 a tank yet to run out. I haven't noticed any difference in performance otherwise. I feel like this is a tough product to review in just a short amount of time. I am hopeful to see a little more improvement in mpg after the next fill-up.

My truck has 85k miles so this was the perfect fuel injector cleaners for it. This help the throttle response which I was about to notice pretty quickly, my truck also has had rough startups for awhile and this definitely made the start ups significantly better. One thing I did with this that I have been told helps, is I put this in with about a quarter tank of gas and run it down to almost empty. It was easy to use, remove the cap, protective seal and pour it in your gas tank, and add gas. It improved my gas mileage slightly, using 87 octane fuel and noticed my vehicle's engine idled a little quieter than before. Definitely packaged well, my 6 year old wasn't able to get the cap off! Made with products known to remove carbon deposits from your engine.
