Use everytime

Add every few month just in case

I bought two of these bottles because the dealership wanted me to have them clean my fuel injectors for $260. Figured I would try something like this instead and save money. It has been a little over a week since I put both bottles in the gas tank. I think it idles smoother than it used to. I do not know how the dealership cleans the fuel injectors, but I figure I will look it up and see if it something I can do myself. I tried this first. Next step is to get another type that you can use without involving the gas and running the car. From reviews online, this might not work or might do a little bit of cleaning.

I've been battling rough idling and sluggish acceleration on my Ford Escape, so I gave Gum-Out Fuel Injector Cleaner a shot. Poured a bottle into a full tank as directed, and after 200 miles, the difference was night and day—smoother starts, better throttle response, and even a slight MPG bump (up about 2). No weird smells or engine knocks, and it's easy to use with any gas station pump. Affordable fix that outperformed pricier competitors. If your injectors are gunked up, this stuff delivers real results!

Gumout has been selling carburetor cleaner products since 1941, long before they began making fuel injector cleaners. It is a brand you can trust. I use the high-mileage fuel injector cleaner because it is specially formulated to reduce higher levels of carbon deposits and wear-related issues. It is safe to use on vehicles that have over 75,000 miles on the engine. The high-mileage formula also includes seal conditioners to maintain the integrity of fuel system seals and prevent leaks. Clean fuel injectors will improve performance for most motorized vehicles, leading to lower cost at the gas pump. Gumout in the 6 oz bottle is affordable and will treat up yo 21 gallons of gas when poured into the tank prior to filling up.

I have always used this product in all of my cars for decades!

Added to a full tank of gas and almost immediately noticed the difference. Car run smoothly after the treatment

It did a good job. My car does actually run better.

Very good product, great quality you can rely on, all their products are good

Use at least once a month. Have been very happy with the results (fuel mileage, better acceleration, etc.)

Good quality product! 👍

I add it to my tank at least once a month. It does an excellent job of helping my fuel mileage and throttle response.

Driving gig delivery takes a significant toll on a vehicle. With so many stops and stop and go traffic, driving over 130 miles in a day is typical, so filling up with gas is more frequent. I used this on occasion but it's not as noticeable as Lucas. Several YouTube mechanics recommend this product and it works. But adding Lucas makes a significant difference in the way the engine runs. DoR delivery stops, leaving the vehicle running is a better option than turning it off because so many starts drains the battery and makes it harder on the engine. This product does appear to help but, again, with so many stops in a day, I find Lucas a better choice for that type of driving. Regular driver and regular commuters will be ok with this product.

I use regular (87)fuel in my car. They don't add as much detergent to lower grade fuel like they do to premium most of the time, especially if it's not "top tier" fuel. I will get "top tier" fuel if it's there but I'm not going out of my way to get it. The car has over 130k and it's 14 years old now. I always use some type of cleaner in the fuel every 5000 miles or less. I've used Gumout stuff a bunch of times and my car seems to still drive fine.

Every few months, I will add a bottle to a full tank of gas when I'm going on an extended highway trip. It not only improves the car's reported miles per gallon but lasts for about three months before I need to use again. I own Toyota RAV 4 2019 and use Regular grade fuel.

helps to use when oil is changed.

I noticed a big difference right away.

Good stuff good price. Felt the difference

Gas runs better

I have been using another brand for years, and the price kept going up, so I started looking at other alternatives, and came across this...and I love it!

I have used GUMOUT products since 1970. That means the product and I have been around for some time now. I have found that GUMOUT is a product that works well in all gas fuel systems. Small engine to large displacement engines, it works. I am not much for " mechanic in a can " but in this case, I am a believer. Add to a tank of gas and use it, say every 6th tank full and you will be a believer too. EPG

I this product twice a month

If you know your vehicle and know what to do to prevent sludge buildup in your injectors, see this stuff. I have used Gumout products for over 50 yrs now and never had a problem

This definitely works. Helps gas mileage and cleans the fuel system. I use it regularly and have never had a problem with my fuel system. I recommend it.

car mpg picked up after running one bottle in a tank of gas

Use this stuff ever second fill up. Depend on my car for my job and having it in the gas station area helps me remember.

Cleaned it right up! Very good product!

Great product. Was using Lucas fuel treatment but it priced itself out of my budget. I've run this through a tankful and the slight miss I was having has gone away. This is good stuff. I've been using other Gumout products since the 70's.

Worked well in my old crown Vic!

I have been using Gumout carb cleaner in my vehicles for 30 years. Have never had a gummed up carb. Even use it in my ATVs. Pricing for it have been slowly rising over the years, but this is very competitive

I add this to gasoline tanks every 5-10K miles or so. For many years, I've not had to use BG44K.

Keep your engine running clean.

Fromm the ease of finding what I wanted ,through the fair price ,til the package was in my hands...Walmart is tops ! thanks Walmart !!

It worked really well and my car is driving more smoothly than before.

If you have a car, it can be tempting just to ignore any type of maintenance unless something goes wrong. We probably don’t have to tell you that this is a bad idea. However, not everyone agrees on what preventive maintenance is, what you should do and when you should do it. Let’s clear that up, and give you some tips that’ll apply to any vehicle.
